Whew….long time no post.

I hope you’ll accept my sincerest apologies.

I went out of town for Christmas on the 18th and just got home yesterday.

Then this morning I woke up feeling SICK and have managed to stay in bed most of the day….ugh.

I did have plans for a small New Years Eve celebration with friends tomorrow night, but now it looks like I’m going to stay home curled up on the couch.

Oh well, sometimes it’s more fun to just stay at home away from the crowds anyway.

Don’t you think?

Today I wanted to tell you about a new beauty sampling program, similar to Birchbox, called Beauty Army.

As you can see from the video the major difference between the two is that with Beauty Army you can choose your own samples instead of having them picked for you.

I also love the fact that if you choose to let them pick the samples for you it’s done by beauty professionals.

I love me some Birchbox so I won’t be unsubscribing from them anytime soon, I will however probably end up signing up for Beauty Army as well.

What can I say I’m a beauty addict.

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately.

In the past week I’ve had company in town, my husband’s birthday and a Halloween Party to throw.

Things are finally starting to get back to normal now though so I thought I’d show you a few pics from our 2nd annual Halloween Party.

I went as a zombie and my husband was Beetlejuice.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any good pics of our costumes as I was too busy hosting the party.

I’m trying to see if anyone else did and if so I’ll post a pic of that as an update.

I am as well, but I did pick up a few things from the collection and thought I’d share it with you.

I picked up this plate which I plan on using on my vanity to put some of my perfumes on.

I mean it’s way too cute to eat off of don’t you think?

I also bought the matching candle for my vanity as well.

Love the floral print.

And lastly I picked up this media bin.

There were a few other things like the makeup brush sets that I wanted which were sold out, but not a whole lot else caught my eye.
