Snooki sans makeup

Snooki tweeted a photo of herself sans makeup with the tag “No make up day :) and IDC :) ”.

All I can say is I love makeup and all, but Snooki looks gorgeous without any and should go sans makeup more often.

Charlize Theron 2012 Golden Globes Look

Charlize Theron 2012 Golden Globes

I’m loving Charlize Theron’s look from last nights Golden Globes.

She looked amazing with very natural eye makeup and glowing skin.

I heard her say her secret to great skin is Cetaphil for cleansing and La Roche-Posay SPF 50 everyday of the year.

Whatever she’s using it works because she looks better every time I see her.

Which celebrity was your favorite last night?

Katy Perry's New Haircut/Color

Katy Perry has a new cut+color.

I personally love it!

It makes her look so much younger than the black color she usually wears.

Get Shakira's hair from the Latin Grammy Awards

Hair Look:

Wella Professionals Celebrity Stylist Andy LeCompte was hard at work behind the scenes of the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards, creating not one, but three different hairstyles for award-winner and performer Shakira. First Andy created a loose, sexy up-do for her walk down the red carpet, next, he let the singer’s hair down for some glamorous waves for her award wins and then a more rock and roll style as she took center stage with a performance.

Look #1.

1. Wash hair with Wella Professionals Enrich Shampoo and Conditioner to maximize volume and shine.

2. Prep wet hair with Wella Professionals Velvet Amplifier Style Primer, then blow-dry the hair with a large round brush.

3. Curves: The 34-year-old’s gown featured a bedazzled bodice, which also tended to accentuate her cleavage. Spray hair with Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray to create matte texture to create the loose – slightly undone look.

4. Pull back the rest of the hair in a loose, natural piece-y chignon and pin it with a mixture of bobby pins and long T pins.

5. Pull down a few loose pieces and use a curling iron to give them a slight curl.

6. Spray the finished look with Wella Professionals Dynamic Fix 45 Second Crafting Spray to set.

Look #2.

1. Blow out hair with Wella Professionals Flowing Form Smoothing Balm to create lots of body and lift, and then set hair in Velcro rollers.

2. Take a 1 ¼ inch curling iron and curled and pin hair in horizontal sections.

3. Let hair set for about 20 minutes and then brush hair off to one side with a boar bristle brush.

4. Lift bang area with a rattail comb and spray with Wella Professionals Stay Firm Finishing Spray.

5. Spritz the hair with Wella Professionals Shimmer Delight Shine Spray for an all over radiant glow.

Look #3.

1. Use Wella Professionals Enrich Care regimen to condition hair for a silky smooth result without weighing it down.

2. Apply Wella Professionals Extra Volume Styling Mousse directly to a vent brush and comb from the root to the end for thorough application.

3. Blow dry the hair completely smooth with a ceramic brush.

4. Spray hair evenly with light application of Wella Professionals Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray and separate hair into small sections and use a medium to large barrel curling iron to set loose waves.

5. Spray hair with Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray to create matte texture to create the loose – slightly undone look.

6. Use Wella Shimmer Delight Shine Spray to add extra natural shine to the hair.

7. Aerate hair with fingers then set with Wella Professionals Stay Firm Finishing Spray to control fly-aways, tucking the hair behind one ear and giving it an all-over polished look.

Lovely Magazine Covers

June 28, 2011 by: admin

I was browsing the web and saw this image of the beautiful Emma Stone and fell in love with her makeup.

The red lips look amazing on her don’t you think?

And I’m also loving Malin Akerman’s very natural look on the August 2011 cover of ELLE Canada.

Do you like these covers as well?

Which one do you like better?

I always love to hear your opinions!

Beauty and Style Rules I learned from Kim Kardashian

June 10, 2011 by: admin

I don’t know about you, but I adore Kim Kardashian.

She always seems so glamorous and put together.

Here are a few beauty and style rules she always seems to follow.

A Denim Jacket never goes out of style and it can be worn over a maxi dress for a super cute look this summer.

A smokey eye/nude lip combo is the perfect go to makeup for a night on the town.

Oversized sunglasses

Ripped Jeans
Photobucket

“I’m loving the ripped jeans look! Also, I’ve been embracing “recession-ista” style which is why I co-founded ShoeDazzle.com. Women need to be able to stay trendy and fashion-forward without having to spend a fortune.”

Oversized Bags

Be proud of your curves!

“I love curves. Being super skinny just isn’t attractive to me.”

Don’t be afraid to try new looks from time to time.

“You make mistakes, but I don’t have any regrets. I’m the kind of person who takes responsibility for it and deals with it. I learn from everything I do. “

And last, but not least remember it’s ok to forget all the rules and just go bare sometimes.

Recently, Whitney Port, posted this on her site.

Hi tootsies,
My colorist Johnny Ramirez and I have been having a lot of fun with my hair lately experimenting with different shades of red. A few months ago, we went with a bright red which then gradually washed out to a strawberry blonde, and now I’ve gone sun kissed apricot! Do you guys like it??

xoxo,
Whit

What do you think of her new apricot do?

To be honest I’m not a fan.

Get Emma Robert’s cascading waves for the 2011 MET Ball

Emma Robert's cascading waves for the 2011 MET Ball

The stars hit the red carpet in style last night at the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala. This year titled ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,’ the Met Ball honored the late and inspirational designer and Hollywood’s hottest donned their most daring to wow and shine.

Sebastian Stylist Thomas Dunkin tended to the locks of Scream 4 actress Emma Roberts before the ball. Of the look Thomas says, “Her dress was incredibly beautiful and we wanted to achieve a super elegant, polished look from top to bottom.” Here, Thomas shares tips for channeling Emma’s Old Hollywood style.

1. Begin by slightly dampening the hair. Apply Sebastian Professional Potion 9 Lite throughout the bottom two-thirds of the hair to create texture and coat the roots with Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray for volume.
2. Next blow out the hair in big sections, placing each into pin curls when dry. This will help smooth the hair so you can get a polished, perfectly groomed effect for an elegant look.
3. Take a large curling iron through the hair, section by section, placing the pieces back in a pin curl.
4. Once the hair cools, brush it through to create waves using a Mason Pearson hairbrush. Gently pull the ends of the hair down to loosen the wave slightly for softness.
5. Finish by applying Sebastian Professional Shaper Fierce hairspray for hold that will last the evening.

Spring 2011 Trend I’m loving: Hot Pink Lipstick

Spring 2011 Trend I'm loving: Hot Pink Lipstick

I’m loving the Hot Pink lipstick trend for Spring. I think it looks amazing on everyone.

Spring 2011 Trend I'm loving: Hot Pink Lipstick

From the lighter skin tones to the darker ones you really can’t go wrong with this shade.

Here are a few tips for making it work for you though….

1. The brighter the lips the lighter the rest of your makeup should be.
2. Porcelain skin tones should go with more of a bubblegum shade while darker skin tones should try a raspberry shade.
3. Having trouble with this trend? Try a hot pink gloss to ease yourself into it.

A few of my favorite Hot Pink shades are….

1. Mac lipsticks in Show Orchid and Girl About Town
2. Revlon Colorburst in Fuschia
3. NYX Black Label Lipstick in Hot Pink

What do you think of this trend?

What are your favorite Hot Pink shades?
