June 2011 Beauty Favorites

June 27, 2011 by: admin

Are you someone who has a million beauty products, but always uses the same few over and over and over?

If so you’re just like me.

It seems like I’ve used nothing, but these few products over and over again lately.

2011 Summer/June Beauty Favorites

1. Prtty Peaushun Body Lotion. This stuff is amazing!
2. Xen Tan Daily Self Tan. Best self tanner I’ve ever used!
3. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. Use this and your makeup won’t budge all day!
4. Origins Vitazing Moisturizer. The only “foundation” I’ve been wearing lately.
5. Pro Face No Sweat Perspiration Retardant. Use this under your foundation for those days you’ll be in the sun a lot, but still want to look fresh.
6. Organix Moroccan Argan Oil. This product prevents UV damage to your hair and leaves it soft and smooth.
7. Lorac Double Feature Concealer and Highlighter. Decent product, not sure if I’d repurchase yet though.
8. Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in Frenzy. I normally don’t like lipstains, but this is great for a day at the beach or at the pool because it stays put.
9. Urban Decay Naked Palette. Love this palette!
10. Mehron Setting Powder. This antiperspirant product is great for keeping the summer greasy look away.
11. Victoria’s Secret Radiant Face Trio in White Hot. Love this highligher. It’s just gorgeous.
12. Not pictured, but a favorite none the less is Benefits Creaseless Shadow in RSVP. Wear this under Urban Decays Sin as a primer and my shadow lasts all day.

And a swatch. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Origins VitaZing Moisturizer Review

Origins VitaZing Moisturizer Review

You’ve already seen the haul. Now here’s the review on

VitaZing SPF 15 Energy-boosting moisturizer

What they say:

This multi-tasking moisturizer handles the vital jobs of hydrating, energizing and protecting to maintain skin’s momentum all day. Gives skin the refreshing zing of antioxidant-rich Mangosteen. And adds a healthy hit of radiance that mimics the glow you get from a week’s vacation. All in 10 seconds max. Slip it on first thing tomorrow – you’ll look like you eat right, sleep tight & don’t have a worry in sight.

My thoughts:

As someone who’s been dealing with problem skin for the last 5-10 years I was skeptical about this product. So going into it I bought it expecting to mix it with my foundation. But after putting it on by itself I thought WOW my skin looks amazing maybe I should wear it by itself. So I did….and people everywhere kept saying things like….

What have you done to your skin?

You look so healthy. Have you been in the sun?

Your skin looks amazing!

Now tell me how can I not love a product that makes people say things like that?

This product has changed my life. My skin has never looked or felt better. It’s a miracle product and one I will never be able to live without! Yes, it’s that good.

One final note:

This is a light tinted moisturizer so I still have to conceal spots, dark circles, etc. Just wanted to let you know so you don’t think it can cover everything on it’s own.

Have you tried Origins VitaZing Moisturizer?

Please share your thoughts.

Origins Haul

April 7, 2011 by: admin

I went into Origins recently just to check things out and left with all of this, lol.

Please tell me you’ve done the same?

I picked up the Origins Vitazing (which I LOVE) because I’d been hearing such great things about it and I’m so glad I did. Since purchasing it I haven’t worn anything else. Look for a review shortly.

As I was paying I was told if I bought one other item I would get a free goodie bag so I picked up some mints(not shown).

The goodie bag contained Origins Starting Over and Perfect World moisturizers as well as a sample of Plantscription.

I also left with some samples of Dr.Weil eye cream, lotion and serum.

I have to say I am loving everything I’ve tried so far and have a feeling I’ll be visiting Origins again very soon.

Look for reviews of most of these products soon.

Have you tried Origins products before?

What were your thoughts?
