Charlize Theron 2012 Golden Globes Look

Charlize Theron 2012 Golden Globes

I’m loving Charlize Theron’s look from last nights Golden Globes.

She looked amazing with very natural eye makeup and glowing skin.

I heard her say her secret to great skin is Cetaphil for cleansing and La Roche-Posay SPF 50 everyday of the year.

Whatever she’s using it works because she looks better every time I see her.

Which celebrity was your favorite last night?

Clinique Airbrush Concealer Review

Clinique Airbrush Concealer Review

Happy Sunday!

Hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend, mines been pretty great so far.

Today while doing my makeup I realized I hadn’t done a post on my favorite concealer at the moment so here I am….

I picked up the Clinique Airbrush Concealer a few months ago and have to say it’s amazing.

What they say:

Instantly helps soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Light-diffusing optics brighten shadows. Creamy, light formula flows through for smooth brush-on, precision application. Ophthalmologist tested.

My thoughts:

Clinique Airbrush Concealer is a sheer, light weight concealer that is amazing for covering those dark under eye circles. It doesn’t settle into fine lines or wrinkles either which is always a bonus. I’ve used this concealer on numerous clients as well as myself and it works great on everyone.

If you need a little more coverage for stubborn dark circles like I do I’d recommend a little bit of Benefit’s Erase Paste first and then a dab of this on top. Best dark circle fighting duo I’ve found so far.

If you’re trying to cover blemishes or scars I don’t recommend this product though as it’s too sheer.

Have you tried the Airbrush Concealer from Clinique before?

What were your thoughts?

Clinique Airbrush Concealer Retails for: $19.50 at Clinique or Sephora.

Clinique Age Defense SPF 30 BB Cream

It’s here!

The Clinique Age Defense SPF 30 BB Cream has arrived in the US and I couldn’t be more excited.

As many of you know I adore BB cream, but they can be hard to get a hold of.

No more driving an hour just to find one for this girl!

Now that Clinique has brought their BB cream to the states it means more people will get to enjoy the benefits of BB cream.

As with most BB creams, the Clinique Cream gives skin just about everything it needs. SPF protection, antioxidants for prevention, plus enough coverage to banish imperfections.

I plan on picking this product up immediately.

It’s available now on Sephora for $37.00.

For those who prefer to shop at Clinique look for it to start popping up at your local counter soon.

Any other BB Cream fans out there?

Are you excited about this one from Clinique?

Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector Review

Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector Review
Happy Thursday Ladies.

The weekend is almost here.

Yippee.

Today I wanted to tell you all about the Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector.

I’ve been using it for nearly three months now so I feel like it’s time for a review.

First, I must say that this is a hard product for me to review.

Why?

Because it hasn’t done much of anything for better or worse.

According to the package it’s supposed to even skin tone with results equal to a leading prescription ingredient. Guaranteed.

And well….it hasn’t.

I have some light acne scarring and sun damage and both of them are still the same. Maybe a little lighter, but not much.

If you ask a Clinique worker they will say to continue using the product to see results.

But at $73.00 for a 1.7 oz container I think I could see better results with another product.

And to keep reaping the benefits I must continue using the product for infinity or the spots come back? Or at least that’s what I was told.

No thanks, Clinique.

I could get a treatment from the dermatologist that would be cheaper than that.

On the plus side though, it does make your skin look more radiant which is something I really liked about the product.

But on that note so do a lot of other products which are much cheaper!!

Has anyone actually tried this product and seen results?

I’d love to hear some honest reviews.

Best!

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara Review

February 23, 2011 by: admin

I know you’re thinking a mascara for your bottom lashes only, what a gimmick! Can’t a girl just use her regular mascara for that?

Well, the answer is yes, but it doesn’t work nearly as good.

What it is:

A mascara with a brush specifically designed for coating the bottom lashes.

What it does:

This mascara’s brush was engineered to grasp even the tiniest of bottom lashes; its expert formula resists pesky smears.

My thoughts:

This mascara is fantastic! I have fairly long bottom lashes and most mascara’s will smear on them. Not this bottom lash mascara. It goes on easily with the adorable little brush and stays all day without giving me any smudges. It even works on those wimpy bottom lashes taking them from fine to fierce instantly. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

Retails for:$10.00 at Clinique

January 20, 2011 by: admin

Before the Holiday’s I saw an amazing offer on one of my favorite makeup artists,Kandee Johnston’s, website.

She posted a deal for crown brushes that made this gorgeous set only $29.99 instead of $43.99. I freaked out because when I was at her Glaminar I remember how she kept raving about these brushes!

I quickly picked up the 15 piece set and am so happy I did! These brushes are amazing!! Just as good as MAC and other high end brands in my opinion.

The set includes:

Angle Blender
Oval Shadow
Blending Fluff
Flat Liner
Concealer

Crown Brushes have been a little pro secret for years…but now you can get them too! And even though the special offer is over with, $43.99 is still an amazing deal for these brushes! You can pay as much as $30.00 for just one MAC brush these days.

If you’re in the market for a new set of high quality makeup brushes check these out you won’t be disappointed!
