Everyday Minerals Haul

August 13, 2008 by: admin

Here’s my Everyday Minerals Haul I promised you yesterday. I have become so obsessed with this brand lately. The quality of their products are amazing and they are so reasonably priced. Everything you see here only cost around $60.00 and that’s not a lot considering how much stuff I bought. It’s not all mine though, some of it’s for my sister who I’m trying to get hooked as well, *evil grin*.

So what all did I buy?

  1. A mixing jar. This was $2.00 and I use it to mix two foundations together to achieve my perfect shade.
  2. Two Summer Stroll Blushes. I love this blush it looks orange in the container, but it’s not. This is my favorite blush from Everyday Minerals at the moment. I picked up one for me and one for the sis.
  3. Medium Beige Neutral in Original Glo
  4. Fairly Light in Original Glo
  5. Puff Jar. This was $5.00 and it’s so worth it. It comes empty so you can put whatever you want in it. I put powder in it and plan on carrying it with me in my purse.
  6. Apple Blush
  7. Deep Wine Blush
  8. Tinted Silk Finishing Dust
  9. Pick Me Up Concealer. I LOVE this stuff. It gives you a healthy glow.
  10. Sunday Brunch Blush.
  11. Everyday Bronzer Blush. This is great to use for contouring.
  12. Nick Nack Blush.
  13. Mystic Night Eyeshadow. Gorgeous!
  14. For spending a certain amount I got three free eye shadows and those are Gold Medal, Bronze Medal and Silver Medal.
  15. Then I got the free sample kit with some products for my sister to try. I ordered her Light Tan, Ivory and Sunkissed Fair foundations, mint concealer and Wake Up Call blush.

That’s it if you have any questions about anything or would like to see swatches just let me know by commenting or send me an email at admin@beflossy.com. All products are available at Everyday Minerals.com.

CVS Drugstore Haul

August 12, 2008 by: admin

I’ve been getting emails and comments from some of you asking me to share more pictures of my hauls, makeup collection, life in general. So guess what I listened! Here is my recent CVS drugstore haul. It’s nothing special or exciting, but you asked for it so here it is :) . I’m telling you ladies if you’re obsessed with makeup, but don’t want to spend a lot of money, then CVS is the place for you. They are always having some great deals and then with the CVS card you can’t go wrong. After coupons and past ECB’s (basically store credit) I spent around $20.00 on all of this and made $5.00 in ECB’s back. What did I purchase you ask?

  1. Pink Ped Egg
  2. Skin Effects Acne Spot Treatment BP Gel
  3. 2 Maybelline The Colossal Mascaras
  4. Ban Deodorant

That’s it for now. I have a Everyday Minerals haul that I just got so I’ll post that either tonight or tomorrow. Let me know if you have questions about anything.

Everyday Minerals Haul and Review

May 13, 2008 by: admin

I’ve been hearing a lot about Everyday Minerals lately so I placed an order with them several weeks ago and I have to say I am now a fan as well.

Here’s what I bought and my thoughts:

Medium Beige Neutral Semi Matte Foundation: I tried Light and Fairly Light from Everyday Minerals with no luck. Then I tried Medium Beige Neutral and the shade is my exact match(I’m a Fairly Light in Bare Minerals if that helps). The product goes on very smooth and feels amazing on the skin. I have been a mineral makeup user since 2005 and I don’t see myself ever going back to liquid foundation again. This stuff also lasted all day even in this very humid/hot May weather we’re having.

Price:$12.00

Final Verdit: I would definitely buy this again. The quality is close to Bare Minerals (my hg foundation) and the price is much better so that makes it a buy in my book.

Waffle Cone Blush: This is a beautiful soft brown blush with a natural bronze sheen a must have for summer. I’ve been wearing this everyday since I bought it!

Price:$8.00

All Smiles Blush: This is a sherbet colored blush which is very nice but I don’t love the color on me so I probably wouldn’t purchase it again.

Price:$8.00

Star to Finish Powder: Love it! This is a product you can put on before you put your makeup on it works like a primer and then you can also use it as a finishing powder. It works great to keep my oily skin looking great all day.

Price:$12.00

Spring Pink Lip Color: A fun medium shade of pink with a semi-matte finish, ideal for that natural everyday healthy look. I love this and plan to order several more since I’m always losing mine.

Price:$3.50

Cosmetic Wet Wipes: I love these they are all-natural skin cleansing and gentle makeup removal towelettes. They have a wonderful Lavender and Grapefruit scent and are 100% biodegradable, flushable, and made from all natural ingredients.

Price:$3.75 for 80 wipes (Such a great deal.)

Overall, I had a very positive experience with Everyday Minerals. The prices are great as is the quality. Have you tried Everyday Minerals what were your thoughts?
