I’m sorry I wasn’t able to update the site yesterday. My husband and I were in a car accident on Thursday. We were rear ended and sent into a guardrail. And while thankfully we are both fine our car is basically totaled. We’ve been dealing with insurance companies and body shops today which sucks! Urban Decay Primer Potion is well known for it’s ability to create amazing staying power for your eyeshadow. It’s a favorite of mine and I can’t go a day without it….really! And now they’ve gone and out done themselves with the new primer potion Sin.

Sin offers you all the stuff you love about the original primer, the only difference being the gorgeous shimmering champagne color. You can wear Sin alone for a natural look or with any other shadow.

I love using it as a highlighter by applying from lash line to crease and then apply your shadow on the lid only.

This stuff is amazing and I don’t see myself going back to the original Primer Potion anytime soon.

As you all know I’m a huge fan of Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara. So imagine my excitement when I ran across Lash Blast Luxe while at CVS this weekend. Luxe is a new mascara from Cover Girl that offers a touch of shimmer.

I picked up Black Platinum which is black with silver sparkles and after wearing it for the past few days I’m ready to give you my review.

The Pros:

• Pink Tube instead of Orange
• Gives amazing length and volume
• Offers a hint of sparkle/shimmer
• Removes easily with soap and water
• Hypoallergenic & suitable for contact lens wearers

The Cons:

• I wish it offered more sparkle because you can barely tell it’s there at all

Verdict:

If you loved the old Lash Blast then you’ll love this one even more. I just wish the sparkles were more noticeable. I give this one 5 out of 5 stars.
