Lancome Definicils Mascara is the best….or is it

I was flipping through my husbands Consumer Reports magazine today when I came across a review on mascaras. They asked a panel of 34 staffers to use 16 washable black mascaras for six weeks. They then rated each on overall performance, ease of application, brush, look on lashes, durability, and ease of removal.
The Winner was Lancome Definicils. But they found several other very good mascaras which can be found at the drugstore: Max Factor Lash Perfection Volume Couture, Maybelline Define A Lash Volume, Cover Girl Volume Exact, and Loreal Telescopic Clean Defintion and Lengthening.
I personally have never been a fan of Definicils. I was also disappointed to see two of my favorites didn’t make the list: CoverGirl Lash Blast and Maybelline The Colassal. What are your thoughts on the list? What is your favorite mascara?

I loved some of Lancome’s mascaras that are now extinct, but when I worked in the beauty department at a department store years ago, I always heard that Definicils made women’s eyelashes fall out. So, needless to say, I stayed away from it.
I too am disappointed our favorite mascaras didn’t make the list!
Maybelle Define a Lash is awesome!
loreal voluminous is all about the volume! while this is my HG, it is quite a heavy formula, but it’s all for the love of volume and sooty blackness!

I have to agree i HATE the definicils as well the sample was great but buying it was a huge mistake!! My favorites are maybelline volum’ express, clinique high impact, and mac zoom lash!! Also for those want long lashes but not noticably wearing mascara look covergirl’s professional, and mac’s x are awesome!!!
